Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and solution needs

  • Promote the company’s VPP and Energy Communities Management Platforms addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

  • Develop a sales growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

  • Build a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets

  • Identify new customers' needs to review solution specifications and requirements

  • Review and propose new business models to facilitate business development

  • Nurture and develop relationships with prospective clients 

  • Continuously update key market and technical knowledge by attending international industry events, participate in workshops, review professional and scientific publications, establish personal networks with relevant market players and partners

Qualifications and requirements

  • BSc or MSc on Power Engineering, Physics Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience working in the utilities landscape is preferred 

  • Excellent understanding of future energy sector digitalisation trends 

  • Experience on Business Development, Requirements Analysis and Sales Planning

  • Must have excellent learning capabilities and be motivated to leave the comfort zone and continuously seek for new knowledge 

  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

  • Must have excellent written/ verbal communication skills in English, other languages a plus

  • Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple prospects  

  • Be proficient in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
